Boys are difficult. Aren't they? In “9 Lives” the stage is occupied by nine boys aged between twelve and twenty, all presenting surprising sides to their characters. Empathetic, clingy and sensitive, they talk of joy and sadness and set about sharing these feelings with the audience. And then there's this woman, sometimes a friend, sometimes a mother, struggling with mounds of washing and with her dread of not being able to understand her sons' issues. And yet, for all the friction, the family is always the place they can go back to. “9 Lives” is a youth work bursting with kinetic energy and depicts the clash of the boys' world with the perspective of an adult.
