Lilla Gát moves to the countryside with her family, intending to put on plays with the children and teenagers of the locality. But the unconventional methods used by Lilla in giving her pupils a voice do not go down well with the rest of the staff.
Work on the production involved youngsters from a village in Transsylvania, on the periphery of Europe. The result is a remarkable blend of acting, drama instruction and film which blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction.
