About the performance

The SOMETHING I’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO SAY project brings together a couple of dozen youngsters during the school holidays of autumn 2016, teens who have lived in the capital for anything from a few months to many years or even all their lives. Under the guidance of director Bernarda Horres they will spend 10 days exploring the ways in which they go about their everyday lives, swapping thoughts on situations in which they might bump into each other and agreeing on life’s big questions. On three separate evenings the Tischlerei will be the setting for a piece of experimental theatre focusing on three different rituals: interacting with youngsters, the audience will be involved in the research and performance processes inherent to the piece and immersed in the goings-on of, respectively, a dinner, a games evening and a sleep-over in the Tischlerei.
