Unfortunately, not all creative artists could receive material support against the pandemic. As you all know, our own Opera Ballet has existed alongside the Staatsballett since 2004. It is not a fixed ensemble per se, but rather the dancers work on the individual opera productions as needed for each project. This means the choreographers can cast the new productions as they see fit, and the dance company can meet the demands of each style of dance. You have seen all of these artists before in such productions as DIE FLEDERMAUS, the Meyerbeer Evenings, LA GIOCONDA or EUGEN ONEGIN.

A small "main cast" has formed over the years – they normally have a lot of work with us each season, but are not "full-time staff" so to speak. Some of them are now in dire financial straits following many months of no work or projects. Because no quick or extensive commitments are expected for this coming summer, we want to help these young artists. It would be wonderful if you could use your donation to help Opera Ballet members with their financial difficulties expected this summer.

For fiscal reasons, we are unable to issue donation receipts for this campaign. The promotional society is helping to ensure transparent and secure receipt and forwarding of the donations to the artists. To ensure that the donations reach the dancers on time, please send your donation in time for us to receive it by 28 May 2021. We are very grateful for any support you can provide.
