Nach seinem Studium war der junge amerikanische Bassbariton u. a. an Projekten für junge Künstler an der Nashville Opera, der Seagle Music Colony und des Brevard Music Center beteiligt, wo er u. a. als Don Alfonso / COSI FAN TUTTE, Leporello / DON GIOVANNI, Colline / LA BOHEME oder Bartolo / DER BARBIER VON SEVILLA auftrat. Engagements führten ihn ans Michigan Opera Theatre, die Chautauqua Opera, die Fort Worth Opera und die Nashville Opera. Dort interpretierte er Rollen wie Harasta / DAS SCHLAUE FÜCHSLEIN, George Jones / STREET SCENE, Zuniga / CARMEN, Alessio / LA SONNAMBULA und Monterone / RIGOLETTO.
In der Spielzeit 2010/2011 war Seth Carico Stipendiat der Opera Foundation und ab der Saison 2012/2013 ist er Ensemblemitglied an der Deutschen Oper Berlin.Productions
